First aid course with Små Liv
Essential First Aid Course for babies and toddlers, led by Små LIV. Babies and toddlers are curious by nature. They explore the world by touching and tasting, and their little fingers find holes, cracks, and objects we adults might never imagine could pose a risk.
They may put things in their mouth, nose, or ears – and as parents, it’s crucial to be prepared. Infants are especially vulnerable, and as a new parent, it’s important to feel confident and safe knowing what to do in an emergency.
When you know how to act and give first aid, you can respond quickly and effectively – and that can make all the difference.
The course covers essential first aid for babies and young children:
-Checking breathing \
- Assessing circulation CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) \
- Clearing blocked airways \
- When to call emergency services (1-1-2) \
- Burns and scalds Poisoning and corrosive injuries \
- Febrile seizures \
- Head injuries \
- General observation of a sick child
